“Tai chi, also called tai chi chuan, is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. To do tai chi, you perform a series of postures or movements in a slow, graceful manner. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. “ from the Mayo Clinic

I am so excited about the upcoming 2009 year. After performing my IMPROSCAPING show to such great reviews this summer, I feel inspired. I am offering some NEW ideas. INTERACTIVE DANCE FOR CHILDREN engages the minds and hearts of children in grades k-8. It entices the audience to think and respond. It is availble now for bookings. Also, COLLECTING MOVES AND TELLING TALES is a process I want to develop for community workshops and for all ages. It combines human movement and journaling to identify stories of human growth, memory and humor. Also a new workout class called SWEATnDANCE. It’s simple. Sweat. Dance. Tone. Stretch.
I am finally working once again in my dance studio. I am creating new works which are flowing out of me. I only work on Tuesday mornings so the process is still slow and developing. I have come up with three solos so far. I am relating to props in some unique ways, a bucket, a hoop skirt and a pom pom. Contact me for more information.
Thank you all for your support over the years. It’s going well even in the tough economic times.

I am still on cloud nine. IMPROSCAPING was rated 5.0 out of 5.0 and considered a MUST SEE PERFORMANCE at the Kansas City Fringe Festival. Dan Brown who attended said, “Your show was so creative and full of variety. We had never seen anthing like this, and we’ve been to many New York, Chicago and KC venues.” Thank you Dan and I look forward to succes at the Indy Fringe.

I am working on a new concept for my next show called Interactive Dance. I would like to involve the audience in some new ways and develop some technology that I can interact with or maybe even interact with film. Let me know if you have any ideas.
