Jazz Dance Express

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
College of Health Sciences
Sport & Recreation Program

JAZZ DANCE EXPRESS combines the elements of dance into a fun workout and as a way to get in shape.  The class uses dance warm ups to integrate body posture and functions.  Jazz and aerobic dance combinations are developed for a cardio workout.  Strength and toning are achieved through the use of free weights. Stretching, breathing and visualization exercises are used to relieve stress. The class is a good way to express yourself, relieve stress and get a good workout all in one.
