Accessorizing

As the title suggests the performer uses three props which act as accessories in the performer’s quest for ultimate beauty and full body proportions. The props: a footstool, elongated earrings and half inflated balloons, are connected by the performer’s body.

Flaunting a costume resembling an evening length gown, the dancer appears in full form. As movement begins to unfold, she attaches herself to the footstool creating a visual contrast. This sensual and organic attachment creates a humorously unpredictable dilemma.

The subtle movements along with the unusual placement of the props create a unique dynamic. As the performer moves delicately across the stage she encounters the balloons grouped on stage right. Fancifully she manipulates the balloons to her sheer delight.
